Apply by Sept 1 to be a Student Ambassador!

Calling current high school students to commit to volunteer with us monthly, from September 2025 through June 2026, as an AltadenaWILD Student Ambassador.

Ambassadors table at community events in Altadena and Pasadena, lead nature hikes in the San Gabriel Mountains, and help with advocating for the protection of nature and smart land use policies. Student ambassadors are featured on the AltadenaWILD website, social media channels, and newsletters.

You can use your volunteer hours toward fulfilling community service requirements at your school. At the completion of the program, student ambassadors will receive a certificate of completion and may request a letter of reference.

Our special focus this year will be on wildfire recovery and urban forestry, local native plants, and helping plant seeds in the community.
