AltadenaWILD, California State University Northridge, and Outward Bound Adventures are committed to replanting Altadena's tree canopy that was lost in the Eaton Fire and debris removal process. At our TreeFest November 8, we will be distributing free saplings*, seedlings, and seeds to the Altadena community. We’ll also have community festival with exhibitors, food, and a healing ceremony.
Event is free to all.
*NOTE: We anticipate obtaining larger natives like live oak and black walnut, as well as select fruit trees, in the near future - you can see examples on November 8. You must pre-register in order to obtain a free larger tree at a future date. Priority goes to Altadena residents with standing structures, water access, and safe planting areas to help ensure tree survival. Make your larger tree registration request here.
