Victor is a former NYC graffiti artist who draws on his street art experience to create meaningful public murals that weave together a community’s local culture, history, landmarks, and nature. Victor and his wife Lisa Beggs’ handiwork includes the classic large letter postcard style of their nationwide Greetings Tour. Part of Altadena’s identity comes from love of nature and trees, adding more injury to the loss. Trees cool the environment and are linked to physical and mental restoration, and will help our community heal. Corps members in the pilot year are from CSUN, Outward Bound Adventures, and Altadena community members.
